P1 and P2 have started a super new topic. We are learning through Fairy Tales. We plan to read a new fairy tale every day until Christmas! Last week we focussed on Jack and the Beanstalk. We did lots of activities such as designing castles, drama, sequencing the story, we made our own beanstalk complete with a giant's foot. We thought about measure and how big the giant's hand was. We wanted to find out who had the biggest hand in our class so we counted the number of magic beans each person could hold. Jack held the most - he held 39 magic beans! Although Mr Wysner was able to hold all the magic beans and even ate four of them!!!
