Every Friday, pupils will be increasing their problem solving skills through Investigative Maths. We started today with the 'Magic V's'. The rules: the numbers 1 to 5 had to be put into the V shape so that the two arms of the V have the same total - without using the same number twice. This was extended to using the numbers 2-6. Lots of different strategies and methods were put into action during this lesson.
