P2/3 enjoyed a range of practical maths activities this week to celebrate Maths Week. We went outdoors to explore measure using rulers, metre sticks and tape measures. The boys and girls showed good team work skills and took care to measure with accuracy.
The children also had the opportunity to take part in a range of Numeracy stations along the theme of our topic ‘Home Sweet Home’ and construction. We developed our skills in number ordering, place value, area, addition, repeating patterns, tessellation, balance and problem solving.
