We celebrated World Book Day in P2/3 today. The children dressed up as their favourite book character and completed a range of World Book Day themed activities. They listened to a shared story and discussed what message they thought the author was trying to communicate. We explored the meaning of the word unique and they created their own unique characters. The children also enjoyed creating bookmarks to mark their place when reading.
