This week P2/3 celebrated Maths Week. The children enjoyed practical problem solving activities and learning about how Maths is important for our everyday lives now and as they grow up. We talked about the Numeracy connected with us e.g. our date of birth, the number of people in our family, our favourite number and the number of teeth we have lost etc. During his visit to our class Paul also told us about how he uses Maths everyday in his work as a builder.
